For this semester long project, we worked with a nonprofit organization called Adoption Inequality. The organization was created to help African American children get adopted in Rhode Island because there is an imbalance regarding the nationality of children who get adopted. We were tasked with creating a logo and a trade dress. Then we were asked to design a mobile, tablet and computer version of a website. Finally, we were asked to make a promotional piece that would be used to raise awareness about the organization. I created a twelve-month calendar based on time spent doing fun activities that children should be doing without the stress of worrying about finding a family.
